The April 2010 IAEA Bulletin issue focuses on several aspects of nuclear security, such as long-term nuclear waste disposal technologies and security procedures and technologies used to protect nuclear power plants and other nuclear sites. It also covers other relevant areas of IAEA work: including cancer therapy organized under the IAEAÕs Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy (PACT) and management of coastal pollution using nuclear techniques. This issue was published shortly before the Nuclear Non-Proliferation TreatyÕs (NPT) five-year review conference, and also examines the training of IAEAÕs inspectors, as well as has an article on the nuclear weapons-free zones (NWFZs).
