IAEA at COP29: Events and Event Participation
11–22 November 2024, Baku, Azerbaijan
The IAEA’s Atoms4Climate COP29 pavilion will be open in the official Blue Zone to deliver a rich programme of IAEA and partner events to showcase nuclear science and technology solutions for climate change mitigation, adaptation and monitoring.
The IAEA is organizing a series of events on four thematic areas: energy, food, the ocean and water. These events will contribute to an informed debate on the tools and benefits offered by nuclear technology and applications for climate change, reducing emissions, building resilience to the impacts of climate change and provide data for decision making.
The Atoms4Climate pavilion will also support the nuclear science and technology community by offering a space for government leaders, associations, civil society, academia and media, to bring far-reaching debate and to amplify innovative ideas for nuclear science and technology solutions.
