Financing the Tripling of Nuclear Energy

In the lead up to COP29, this high-level panel will take stock of recent progress toward delivering the tripling of global nuclear energy and specifically addressing the challenges of nuclear financing. The event will include high level remarks from some of the countries that signed on to the Declaration on Tripling Nuclear Energy. It will also be an opportunity to share key insights from international organizations including new and forthcoming NEA and IAEA publications on financing nuclear that will contribute to evidence-based discussions regarding nuclear financing at COP29. This session will present key insights of recent and forthcoming publications on nuclear financing from NEA and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that will support evidence-based discussions regarding nuclear financing at COP29.
