The IAEA Doubly Labelled Water (DLW) Database is a collection of energy expenditure measurements made using the stable isotope method of doubly-labelled water analysis. Multiple papers have already been published from this database and it continues to change the assumed knowledge on energy balance, metabolism and body composition. New data submissions to the database are welcome, as well as requests to use the data to explore important research questions.
