Beyond the Peaks: Monitoring the Downstream Effects of Glacier Retreat

This event will emphasize the importance of a comprehensive monitoring plan to systematically assess the diverse downstream effects of glacier melt. Highlighting the critical role of understanding these effects, the event will underscore the necessity of a robust framework for ongoing assessment and adaptation, ensuring sustainable water resources and ecosystem health in mountain regions for future generations.
