INLN Membership
Membership in the International Nuclear Library Network (INLN) is open to nuclear libraries, information centres and research institutes from IAEA Member States and United Nations (UN) affiliated organizations. Other international, national, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations with similar information management and research missions may also join.
To apply for INLN membership, an official request must be submitted to the IAEA Library, the coordinating library of the network. If the requesting institution is located in an IAEA Member State or belongs to a UN organization, the IAEA Library will inform the network members about the newest member, update the INLN website, and provide the new member with information on the network’s activities and the IAEA Library’s services. For other interested members, the IAEA Library will seek consensus and approval from the network members and inform the applicant about the result.
The network’s strategic goals are negotiated and defined by its members, with each INLN member enjoying the same rights and responsibilities. The main benefits for members include resource sharing through international cooperation and promotion of best practices within, and beyond, the boundaries of library, information and knowledge management professions.
