This fourth updated Radioactive Waste Management Glossary is intended to provide a source of terms that are commonly used or have special meanings in the field of radioactive waste management. The glossary includes new terms that have come into use in the past decade and terms whose meanings have changed. The terms that are included have all become part of accepted international usage.
