In 2024, the ISOP Network launched its first Innovation Awards program, managed under the auspices of the IAEA. This program aimed to recognize and celebrate examples of deployed innovation that are unique to the nuclear power industrial sector and deliver significant impact. The awards program was a resounding success, gathering 39 unique innovation use cases, highlighting the innovative spirit within the nuclear community and fostering a sense of collaboration and achievement.
The second webinar in this series will focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning and large language models. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about groundbreaking advancements and hear from leading experts in the field. This session will include presentations, videos, and a Q&A session, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest technological developments and their deployment in operating nuclear power plants (NPPs).
