Though largely preventable and treatable in developed countries, cervical cancer kills nearly 300,000 women every year in the developing world. Radiotherapy is an essential tool in cancer care and a cost-effective way to treat tumours and ease pain. The IAEA supports Member States in their efforts to improve access to radiotherapy. This video was released for World Cancer Day 2020.
