Fighting Cervical Cancer: A Fair Chance for Every Woman Around the World

Producer: Katy Laffan

Though largely preventable and treatable in developed countries, cervical cancer kills nearly 300,000 women every year in the developing world. Radiotherapy is an essential tool in cancer care and a cost-effective way to treat tumours and ease pain. The IAEA supports Member States in their efforts to improve access to radiotherapy. This video was released for World Cancer Day 2020.
