Description

Emergency preparedness requires adequate infrastructural elements, development of criteria and arrangements that ensure effective emergency response. Due to the significance of human involvement, awareness and leadership at all levels are essential components that contribute to the success of emergency response. Awareness and leadership can be promoted through an EPR culture that provides assurance that EPR-related topics receive appropriate attention at all required levels so that the general, functional, and infrastructural requirements referred to in GSR Part 7 are met. This ensures that the goals of emergency preparedness are fully accomplished, and an effective response will take place should an emergency occur. The objectives of the Webinar are to discuss:

  • Elements and characteristics of EPR culture
