Graduate of the Nuclear Medicine Program at Rambam. Pioneer in development of SPECT/CT and PET/CT technology since the late 1990s. Author of three textbooks and over 200 peer-reviewed papers. Former Visiting Professor at Harvard Joint Program in Nuclear Medicine, currently Associate International Editor of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Editorial Board member of additional imaging journals. The 2006 laureate of the Elkeles Prize for Excellence in Research awarded by the Jewish National Fund, past Associate Director for Research Operations and Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Rambam. Upon her appointment in 2004 she was the first female Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, currently Emeritus Professor of Imaging at the Technion. One of 30 founding members of the Israeli Academy of Medicine. Since 2018 (first overseas) Fellow of SNMMI, USA, recipient of the 2020 GCNMC-SNMMI Lifetime Achievement Award.
