The number and production capacity of mass rearing insectaries for mosquitos is expected to increase in the coming years. This FAO/IAEA interactive Excel Spreadsheet has been developed to assists in technical and economic decision making associated with design, costing, construction, equipping, and facility operation. The spreadsheet is user friendly and thus largely self-explanatory. Nevertheless, it includes a basic instruction manual that has been prepared to guide the user, and thus should be used together with the software.
