IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano will travel to Tehran for high level meetings with senior Iranian officials on Sunday, 29 October 2017. The visit is part of the regular dialogue between the Agency and Iran. Discussions will focus on the IAEA’s verification and monitoring of Iran’s implementation of its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the implementation of Iran’s safeguards agreement and its additional protocol.
