On 2 February 2010 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, the first Singapore CPF was signed by Mr. Tan York Chor, Resident Representative of Singapore in Geneva and IAEA DDG-TC Ms Ana María Cetto.
This Singapore CPF is for five years from 2010-2014, and is an outcome of combined efforts and close interaction with all stakeholders from the Singapore Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science (CRPNS) of National Environment Agency (NEA) and the IAEA.
The following key sectors were identified inthe CPF as technical cooperation priorities of Singapore:
- nuclear safety and security;
- human health;
- environment radiation monitoring;
- industrial application of radioisotopes.
