Save the Date and Register Now for the First International Conference on the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme: Sixty Years and Beyond - Contributing to Development

The IAEA is organizing its first ever International Conference on the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme, which will take place in May 2017. The conference will bring together high level decision-makers, policy formulators and senior technical experts from a significant number of the IAEA's 168 Member States, high-level representatives from UN system partners and other multilateral entities, and from academia, industry, bilateral aid agencies and foundations, the private sector and the media.

It will highlight six decades of achievements in helping Member States address their development priorities using nuclear science and technology, as well as raising awareness of how the programme can contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The conference also aims to strengthen partnerships for technical cooperation (TC) programme delivery at every level.

Panel discussions, side events, presentations, speeches and exhibitions will provide interactive and dynamic fora to showcase how science and technology have contributed to the well-being and socioeconomic development of IAEA Member States and to reflect on the future of the TC programme.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible to be part of this important event, as speakers, panellists, exhibitors, sponsors or as attendees.

The Conference will be held from 30 May to 1 June 2017 at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna. You can find more information, including registration details, on the conference webpage.
