Mexico has been an IAEA Member State since 1958. Its 2016-2021 CPF identifies six priority areas:
- Sustainable nuclear energy;
- Nuclear safety and safety of radioactive sources;
- Human health;
- Food security and sustainable agriculture;
- Environmental protection and sustainable water management; and
- Industrial applications.
