Exploring Advances in Radiotherapy

Radiotherapy is now more precise and effective than ever before – in part thanks to Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy. The International Atomic Energy Agency is working to coordinate research across the world’s top cancer centres, to find the most effective and innovative ways to use this valuable treatment – and ensure that doctors and physicists around the world have the clinical skills needed to provide it. This film focuses on liver cancer – one of the most common causes of death from cancer worldwide - so new clinical research is vital to build the evidence base needed for improved treatment options.
