Four UNMOVIC missile teams inspected four separate sites: the Ibn Firnas Company that is involved in the design and manufacturing of remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs); the Samarra East Airfield that is involved in the flight test of RPVs; Al Mamoun that manufactures solid propellant rocket motors; and the Al Fekar Factory that manufactures parts and subsystems of rockets. These inspections were conducted to verify Iraq's declarations and establish a comprehensive monitoring mechanism.

An UNMOVIC biological team visited a Military Hospital approximately 160 km southwest of Baghdad and carried out a ground survey in part of the hospital compound. Another biological team carried out an inspection of a seed-processing facility approximately 20 km east of An Nu'maniyah.

An UNMOVIC chemical team inspected the 7 Nissan stores in southeast Baghdad. This store is the central stores for Iraq's pesticide stores in 15 Governorates.

A Mosul-based multidisciplinary team inspected the Mosul Raiyard AR Rayanihay RR Siding, approximately 20 km from Mosul. This is a location, where goods are transported from and to train truck.

The IAEA held no-notice inspections at two sites: Um Al Maarik and Badr State Establishment, 25 km south of Baghdad. The inspections were undertaken to establish the current disposition of machine tools monitored by the IAEA. Another IAEA team conducted a car-borne radiation survey along and near the Tigris River just south of Baghdad

An UNMOVIC multidisciplinary team inspected the Al Musaayaib Ammo Depot, an ammunition storage area south of Baghdad on 10 February. The team inspected bunkers, warehouses, small buildings and storage areas.
