Fifth Extraordinary Meeting

As part of the continuous review and improvement of the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management (Joint Convention), the Contracting Parties agreed, to convene the Fifth Extraordinary Meeting to discuss potential changes to the guidelines of the Joint Convention to achieve the uniform identification of Good Practices.

The Fifth Extraordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Joint Convention will take place at the IAEA’s Headquarters in Vienna, Austria from 25 to 26 March 2024.
