Research Reactor School in the Africa Region

Introduction

The Research Reactor School in the Africa Region is organized by the National Centre for Nuclear Energy, Sciences and Technology of Morocco, with support of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The workshop is focused on the development of nuclear competences in Member States by using research reactors.

Objectives 

The workshop is intended to assist participating Member States in the Africa region in building nuclear competence and providing hands-on training for young professionals on the operation of research reactors. The event also aims to enable the participants to develop their technical skills; provide some background information to allow them to safely operate research reactors; and familiarize them with the basic aspects of nuclear reactors.
