Description

Newly proposed enhanced tittle of the CRP is as follows: Deployment of innovative digital technologies for efficient decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Acronym "DEDICATE".
The overall objective of the CRP is to strengthen cooperation and enhance Member State's capabilities in effective planning and sustainable decommissioning of nuclear facilities through deployment of innovative digital technologies, including practical approaches for legacy and up-to-date data governance, optimization of dismantling processes and associated waste management.
Proposed CRP will address deployment of digital technologies for effective management and use of comprehensive data sources and documentation for decommissioning. Provided will be benchmarking opportunities of innovative digital technologies and practical approaches for effective planning and sustainable implementation of decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Benchmarking of practical approaches might include also robotics and remotely controlled systems planned to be involved in the decommissioning operations.
Considered will be guidance to optimize dismantling and associated waste management operations by applying open-source artificial intelligence tools e.g., machine learning, generative AI etc. The IAEA report on the CRP topic summarizing achieved results will be prepared and published.

Objectives
