The September 2007 IAEA Bulletin issue marks the IAEAÕs 50th anniversary. It starts by looking at the AgencyÕs history; then several aspects of the current state of nuclear power worldwide and of its future development are reported, including nuclear weapons, nuclear energy and nuclear safety. Finally, the edition covers several of the main lines of development of the Agency, such as gender issues, cancer treatment, nutrition, cooperation with Member States Collaborating Centres, securing and safely storing radioactive sources, and emergency responses.
