On 5 April 1973, he most important Agreement yet concluded or implementing the safeguards provisions of the NPT as signed in Brussels ? he IAEA/EURATOM Agreement. Under this Agreement, Belgium, he Federal Republic of Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, he Netherlands as well as Denmark nd Ireland will accept safeguards pursuant to the NPT on all nuclear material in all their peaceful activities.
