Nuclear technology can play a significant role in the achievement of many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the fields of health, food security, energy and the environment. To illustrate the IAEA’s support to Member States in these areas, the Agency has launched a new series of nine short videos. The contribution of nuclear science to the SDGs will also be discussed during the IAEA Scientific Forum 28-29 September. The upcoming General Conference marks the beginning of the IAEA’s 60-year anniversary.
