IAEA Appointments
The IAEA Director General has announced new appointments to senior positions at the Agency:
Mr. Biggs
Mr. Ian Biggs, from Australia, as Special Assistant for Policy, Office of the Director General, effective 19 July 2002.
Mr. Liengsririwat
Mr. Verasak Liengsririwat, from Thailand, as Special Assistant for Management, Office of the Director General, effective 1 November 2002.
Mr. Zeekeh
Mr. Ibrahim Zeekeh, from Ethiopia, as Director, Office of Internal Oversight Services, effective 1 November 2002.
Mr. Sreenivasan
Prof. Katepalli Sreenivasan, from India, has been appointed to head the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy. Born In India, Prof Sreenivasan is now a citizen of the United States.
