IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano delivered a statement to the Agency's Board of Governors, saying that the third International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century, 27-29 June 2013 in St. Petersburg, will provide a valuable opportunity to look forward and consider nulcear power's long-term contribution and sustainable development. He also provided an update on the IAEA's work related to safety and security.
