Objectives
To reinforce the regulatory infrastructures for nuclear safety and radiation protection of Member States in Latin America and the Caribbean, so they are adequate, sustainable and efficient and fulfil the provisions of the revised international IAEA Basic Safety Standards (BSS) in order to ensure protection of people and the environment against adverse effects of ionizing radiation.
