The General Conference is the highest policy-making body of the IAEA. It is composed of representatives of all Member States of the Agency. The General Conference meets annually, typically in September, to consider and approve the Agency's programme and budget and to decide on other matters brought before it by the Board of Governors, the Director General and Member States.
Annual IAEA General Conference
The 59th Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference is set for 14 to 18 September 2015 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in Vienna, Austria, where high-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA Member States will consider a range of issues. Scientific Forum at the General Conference
A Scientific Forum will be convened in conjunction with the 59th General Conference - entitled Atoms in Industry - Radiation Technology for Development - at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in Vienna, the site of the General Conference. More →
Member States and accredited organizations wishing to take part as exhibitors — usually set up as a side event to the General Conference — are kindly invited to submit their space requests in advance.
For the 59th General Conference, relevant information and specifications shall be made available to the prospective exhibitors in due course. It should be noted that specific stands may not be automatically reserved every year by one Member State, but will be assigned by Conference Services on a rotational basis.
