Dances and Textile The Indian Ambassadress invites us
to experience the exquisite Indian 'Nritya' (dance) in
the 'Kathak' style, known for its intricate and fast footwork
set to the lilting rhythm of the 'Tabla' and Hindustani music.
We will also see a performance of the ‘Lavani' folk dance of
western India, less structured but no less enchanting than its
classical
counterparts. There will be a display of the traditional Indian
fabrics in dazzling motifs and texture.
