Co-ordinated Research Projects
(CRPs)

Co-ordinated Research Projects (CRP)
represent an IAEA mechanism for organizing international research efforts to achieve specific research objectives as defined in the IAEA programme of work. The results of these projects are available, free of charge, to scientists, engineers and other users from all Member States.

A CRP typically involves 8-10 participants, each of them being a research team from a different Member State, for a duration of 3-5 years. IAEA provides financial support for 2-3 Research Co-ordination Meetings (RCM), and small research grants for participants from developing countries.

Lists of Recently Completed CRPs and On-going CRPs are available here.  For detailed information on the ongoing CRPs, please contact the respective technical officers.
