Project Title: Room Temperature Ceramics, the Breakthrough Material, for  Long Term Stabilisation and Isolation of Low-Waste Uranium

Abstract

Uranium pollution surrounding former U-mines and tailing have been reported from four contaminated sites in Lower Silesia. The patterns of uranium dispersion and remediation against uranium impact are discussed in the project. The model for a long term stabilization of the tailing is proposed.
