Payment Instructions


Payment methods

All invoices are prepared in Euro. Payments should only be made after receipt of the reference materials. Invoices are payable within 90 days following the date of dispatch of goods by one of the following methods:

  1. Cheque in Euro
  2. Bank transfer - in Euro
  3. UNESCO Coupons
  4. Credit Card: only Visa and Mastercard are acceptable

As a United Nations organisation the IAEA is not liable for VAT nor does it charge its customers VAT on goods provided or for services rendered.

Payment details

The AQCS invoice number must be clearly identified on all forms of payment.

  4. UNESCO Coupons - available at UNDP offices against local currency.
  5. Credit Card - in order to accept a payment we need the following details:

    The full number of the Credit Card.
    It's expiry date.
    The name of the owner with his/her authorized signature.
    The total due.
    The invoice number.

Please note that although AQCS invoices are quoted in EURO (€) additional charges covering the costs of exchange conversions maybe levied by credit card companies in both Austria and your country. As a consequence, you might be charged significantly more than the purchase price when buying AQCS products by credit card and you are advised to check the associated costs before proceeding. These charges are completely outside the control of the IAEA. It may be more cost effective to purchase AQCS products with a bank draft or cheque.
