Conditions of sale

In order to conserve the stocks of certain reference materials, limitations have been placed on the number of units that can be ordered by a given organization within a certain period of time. The following restrictions apply:

In placing an order, customers agree that they will not resell any IAEA reference material to a third party at a higher price without the prior consent of the IAEA.

Please note, failure to pay the return delivery charges will result in the customers institute being prohibited from ordering IAEA AQCS Reference Materials until all delivery charges have been settled.

The customer is responsible for payment of all importation charges associated with the delivery of the AQCS Reference Materials or is responsible for paying the return shipment costs to the IAEA if such charges are refused.

Since problems have been encountered with the importation of reference materials into certain countries, customers are advised to check whether specific declarations (e.g. sterilization certificate) are required for customs regulations in force in their country. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they have adhered to such national regulations. Failure to do so may result in lengthy delays at customs for which the IAEA can take no responsibility. The Agency will endeavour to provide such documentation as is necessary to expedite the importation process.

Note:
Commercial organization interested in reselling IAEA-AQCS reference materials may contact the AQCS office at Seibersdorf in order to discuss the possibility of becoming a recognized distributor.

Complaints

Any claim, either of a technical nature or concerning a delay in delivery, must be directed to the supplying group at the IAEA (AQCS or Hydrology Unit).
If a package does not meet the quoted specification or was sent to the wrong address due to the IAEA's mistake it will be replaced at the IAEA's expense. The Agency's responsibility for any shipment ends with the delivery of the package to the customer or their customs office.
