IAEA Board Convenes Meeting

The IAEA Board of Governors will convene a meeting at the Agency's headquarters on Monday, 10 September 2012.
Director General Yukiya Amano will open the meeting with an introductory statement. The Board will discuss a number of issues including the Director General's report on Implementation of the IAEA Action Plan on Nuclear Safety.
Board discussions are also expected on the implementation of safeguards in Iran, Syria and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; the Nuclear Security Report 2012 and Nuclear Security Fundamentals; and the application of IAEA safeguards in the Middle East.
