Water experts from around the world are meeting from 20-21 September in Vienna, Austria, to discuss how nuclear techniques can help tackle some of the eart's most pressing water challenges. Over two days, government ministers will be joining leading water experts from the fields of agriculture, hydrology and oceanography to highlight global water challenges and demonstrate the benefits of nuclear techniques in addressing these issues. IAEA Director General, Yukiya Amano, opened the forum with this statement.
