29, Thursday. IAEA Receives Initial Iranian Response on Proposal to Supply Nuclear Fuel to Research Reactor. IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei has received an initial response from the Iranian authorities to his proposal to use Iran´s low-enriched uranium for manufacturing fuel for the continued operation of the Tehran Research Reactor, which is devoted mainly to producing radioisotopes for medical purposes. 24, Saturday. IAEA Inspectors Depart for Iran Site Visit. Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency departed Vienna International Airport and are expected to arrive in Tehran later today. Full Story

23, Friday. IAEA Statement on Proposal to Supply Nuclear Fuel to Iranian Research Reactor. The United States, Russia and France have indicated today their positive response to Director General Mohamed ElBaradei´s proposal on a draft agreement to supply Iran with nuclear fuel for its research reactor, for the production inter alia of radioisotopes for medical purposes. 21, Wednesday. IAEA Draft Agreement Circulated at Nuclear Fuel Talks. The technical meeting addressing Iran´s request for the supply of nuclear fuel for the Tehran Research Reactor concluded.
