3, Monday. IAEA Board of Governors Convenes June Meeting. The IAEA Board of Governors began its second meeting of the year at the Agency's headquarters in Vienna, Austria. The 35-nation Board will discuss various issues, including the Implementation of the NPT Safeguards Agreement and Relevant Provisions of Security Council Resolutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Director General Yukiya Amano opened the meeting with a statement. He also briefed the media following the opening of the Board meeting. 22, Wednesday. Iran Safeguards Reports Circulated to IAEA Board. IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano circulated his report on nuclear safeguards in Iran to the Agency's Board of Governors, the 35-member policymaking body. The Board next convenes in Vienna on 3 June. IAEA Board Report

16, Tuesday. Iran Informs IAEA Nuclear Facilities are Unharmed by Quake. The IAEA's Incident and Emergency Centre (IEC) contacted the Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) concerning the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which occurred at 12:44 UTC today in the south-east of the country. Full Story
9, Tuesday. Iran Informs IAEA on Nuclear Power Plant Following Quake. The IAEA's International Seismic Safety Centre (ISSC) has notified the Agency's Incident and Emergency Centre (IEC) that an earthquake struck southern Iran on 9 April 2013 at 11:53 UTC, about 91 kilometres from the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
