| The Indonesian National Research Council (Dewan Riset Nasional, DRN) is a body chaired by the Minister of State for Research and Technology and appointed by the President of Republic of Indonesia to assist the government in formulating policies dealing with the utilization, development and mastery of science and technology for the welfare of Indonesians. As such DRN is not an executing agency, but rather a pool of scientists and experts collectively given assignment to formulate policies needed in many aspects of research and technology development undertakings. |
