| The Institute of Nuclear Energy Technology (INET) of Tsinghua University was founded in 1960 as one of the pioneer nuclear research and experimental base in China. Within more than thirty years, now INET has been developed into a comprehensive research center with multi disciplinary research, design and development projects mainly concentrated on the nuclear technology. INET is the largest institute under the State Education Commission and has combined the teaching, research and production together. Some important national construction projects and key scientific research projects are undertaken by INET. It plays an important role in the development of nuclear energy science in China and also wins a good reputation around the world. |
