Multimedia on Nuclear Reactor Physics

Multimedia on Nuclear Reactor Physics will be available soon on this website for the students and the educators for universities and other governmental non commercial organizations. The software package will be distributed through the IAEA Regional TC Project, RAS/0/047 Supporting Web-Based Nuclear Education and Training through Regional Networking. The project strives to provide more opportunities and resources for nuclear education and training in the Asia and the Pacific region.
Multimedia on Nuclear Reactor Physics is unique learning material which consists of about 800 slides and the texts in three languages; English, Spanish and French. The figures, animations, tables and equations in the slides facilitate better understanding on nuclear theories in a more effective and efficient way. It would be suitable supplementary material for professors and lecturers at universities and training centers and for students who want to broaden and deepen their knowledge. Multimedia has been developed and used by the Spanish Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) for the UPC master’s course programme in nuclear engineering since 2001 in cooperation with several organizations including the IAEA.
