Abstract
For the evaluation of the design seismic forces of the embedded High-Temperature-Testing-Reactor (HTTR) structure, a sway-rocking model considering the embedment of the structure is used. As for the composition of this model. The structure is modeled into beams with lumped masses, and the soil into the horizontal side springs and the horizontal and rotational bottom springs. At the same time, the input motion to the structure which has the form of multiple excitation is calculated based on one dimensional wave propagation theory. This paper presents the concept of this modelling and evaluated results.
