Abstract
This paper deals with the 3D simulation of assemblies of a High Temperature Helium Cooled Reactor core. The aim is to investigate an emergency situation due to blocking of few Helium channels in the core. This numerical study is performed using the thermalhydraulic code Trio U. Firstly, the problem is described ; then we present the problem modelling with the Trio U code. At last, results are discussed, stressing the maximal temperatures obtained in the assemblies in the case of channels blocking.
