Bastien, D.; Brie, M. (CEA Centre d'Etudes de Saclay, 91 - Gif-sur-Yvette (France))

Abstract

During the history of operation of six gas cooled reactors in France, some experience has been gained with accidental water ingress into the primary system. This occurred as a result of leaks in steam generators. This paper describes the cause of the leaks, and the resulting consequences.
