Abstract

The objectives of the benchmark are to examine the ability of the assessment methods to explain the actual phenomena observed in order to determine whether the design methodologies without being too severe could successfully avoid any damage on the component. The paper represents the French contribution to this benchmark. After a description of the numerical codes used in the thermal-hydraulic and thermomechanical domains, the application of French methodologies is performed on the benchmark.
