Abstract
Presented are the results from in-pile tests and material investigations of the BOR-60 vibropack U-Pu oxide fuel pins. The data on fuel pin characteristics are also given. The effects of both the technological factors and test conditions on the fuel pin performance are considered. The factors limiting their service life are revealed and the leads for further improvements of the fuel pin design and fabrication technology to obtain higher burnups are specified.
