Conference Article: Requirements of a proton beam accelerator for an accelerator-driven reactor

Abstract

The operation of a storage ring for a synchrotron radiation facility is required to be very stable beam-track operation; otherwise, precise measurements cannot be carried out with an unstable photon beams. Stable beam operation is now success&l even when it is not accelerating the particle.
