| The joint-stock company Slovenské elektrárne had its inception 21 Janaury 2002 as a new entity from property substance and a successor in title to Slovenské elektrárne, a.s., from which Prenosová sústava and Tepláren Koice separated as of the above date. The sole holder of SE, a.s., shares is the Slovak National Property Fund. The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic has been charged with the exercise of the shareholder´s rights. The company´s line of business includes electricity generation, imports, exports, sales and distribution. SE, a.s., provides heat generation, sales. Joint-stock company SE is the operator of three nuclear power plants, two thermal power plants, and 34 hydroelectric power plants. |
