CALOR - A Monte Carlo Code System for Analyzing Hadronic and Electromagnetic Cascades

external URL: http://www-rsicc.ornl.gov/codes/ccc/ccc6/ccc-610.html

The major components of CALOR include the HETC code for computing the hadronic transport and particle production, the SPECT code for computing the energy deposition of the hadrons, the EGS code for computing the transport and energy deposition of the electromagnetic particles, and the MORSE or MICAP code for computing the low-energy neutron transport and secondary photon production. An ancillary program, LIGHT, accounts for the non-linearity of the light pulse in the scintillator due to saturation effects in the active medium. A final user-written routine combines the output of the transport modules to provide the problem-specific analysis results.
