22 August 2012 - The Japanese version of the INIS interactive online version of the Multilingual Thesaurus has been produced and is now available on the INIS website. With the addition of the Japanese version, the INIS Multilingual Thesaurus is now available in eight languages - six official languages of the IAEA, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish, as well as German and Japanese. We believe that the INIS Multilingual Thesaurus will be of assistance to users searching the INIS Collection.
At the same time, in close cooperation with the ETDE, the INIS/ETDE Thesaurus (English version) has been consolidated and a complete fully updated version is now available on the INIS website. The Thesaurus will be kept up to date on a regular basis, giving users an opportunity to consult the latest version in a single document. Monthly supplements to the INIS/ETDE Thesaurus will continue to be maintained and made available on the INIS website. It is expected that the improvements made in regard to the INIS/ETDE Thesaurus will benefit all information professionals using this valuable tool.
